LEGACY RECORDS

In Legacy Records, Chef Ryan Hardy and the Delicious Hospitality Group became our co-conspirators. Occupying the first two floors of Hudson Yard’s Henry Hall residential building, Chef Hardy's passion for melody and rhythm, and DHG’s sister restaurants’ focus on distinct musical genres significantly informed our process. We envisioned Legacy Records as a tribute to contemporary food and sound, a canvas for culinary and musical traditions, both classic and modern.

We wielded color as a conductor directs an orchestra, composing the dining, drinking, and gathering spaces to resonate with unique charisma and visual lyricism. For the second-floor bar, the artist Chris Lux was enlisted to reinterpret Marvin Gaye’s iconic “I Want You” cover as a vibrant, tangible representation of the melody.

Behind the coat check, we tucked a hidden watering hole; adjacent private dining spaces provide residents of Henry Hill and guests the space to gather, celebrate, and share in the joy of community.

Legacy Records represents a symphony of spaces, each carefully arranged and thoughtfully orchestrated to allow music and design to intertwine in a living tapestry.
